Erosion started in 2015 to make Mead drinkable again. We don’t make your grandparents Mead, We make craft mead using pure WA honey.
Their meads are crafted with Australia in mind. Erosion is about changing the preconceived notation that mead is sickly sweet and only for winter.
Here to erode the age-old stereotype of mead.
Since 2009, Sean has been advocating for the use of Eucalyptus honey in Australian Meads and Beers, (the myth that Eucalyptus honey is bad for mead making is incorrect, it is fantastic for mead making)
Sean also ran the main homebrew club (at the time) in WA the West Coast Brewers Inc. and has been a Beer and Mead Judge ever since.
