Semillon can come in both a sweet or dry variety and the dry age very well and often reach their peak after 10 years in the bottle.

Wines from Western Australia are usually vibrantly flavoured, often grassy and lemony with a higher alcohol, fresh acidity and sometimes a subtle oak and barrel fermentation influence.
