This wine is a beautiful little box of chocolate from Western Australia’s premier wine region. They do Cabernet very well in Margaret River and this one is bursting with complex flavours of red berries and spice.  It is very difficult to get good Cabernet for us to sell under our brands from Margaret River as they often sell out each vintage under winery brands.

The producer of this wine is a small family operation located in the Geographe wine region of Western Australia. The winery is a total family affair with two generations involved in the operation of the vineyard, winery and cellar door.

Blackberries and spicy plums combine enticingly with leather and complex oak. The palate is rich and smooth, having had time to meld the lovely fruit flavours and the bold tannins. Great length!

We have been very lucky to get our hands on this little beauty from the Coonawarra. The region is neck and neck with Margaret River when it comes to producing some of the best cabernet in the world. This cabernet just oozes class and distinction with beautiful up-front aromas and flavours of deep forest berries and chocolate followed by hits of mint and smooth tannin. Just all class really… My score 94/100  – WACC Gold Medal
