$26.00each
About the Wine:
The Frankland River Museum Release Cabernet Malbec 2012 is a stunning blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (63%), Malbec (20%), Cabernet Franc (3.5%), and Petit Verdot (3.5%). Fruit from some of the winery’s oldest vines was fermented in small batches and aged in French Oak for 20 months, creating a wine that reflects both the vineyard and the vintage’s full character.
About the Producer:

Their commitment to the unique terroir, featuring gravelly loam soils, warm days, and cool nights, produces grapes with intense varietal character. Rated 5 Red Stars by James Halliday in his Wine Companion, their wines are recognized for excellence.
Comments from Wine Buyer Steve:
“Wow! This is one of their signature wines—complex, earthy, with berry fruit flavours and perfectly integrated oak. Normally $72, we’re offering it at just $26. It’s ready to drink now, but quantities are very limited, so be quick!”
Score: 97/100 (WACC Trophy)
What is Cabernet Malbec?
A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec, this combination creates a truly exceptional wine. While Malbec had nearly faded from Australian vineyards, recent interest, inspired by Argentina, has brought this variety back into the spotlight. Blending Malbec with Cabernet Sauvignon brings out the best of both grapes.
