Fermentation Cool harvested grapes undertake fermentation on skins for 8 days at temperatures that suit the retainment of the appealing array of fresh fruits. Maturation in oak for up to 16 months builds a satisfying mellow texture and flavour component to the wine.

The producer of this beautiful Margaret River ‘The Point’ Cabernet Merlot 2020 is rated a perfect 5 Red Stars by James Halliday in his Wine Companion. The winery has an excellent reputation for producing small parcels of well-crafted wines made from 100% Estate Grown fruit. All grapes are handpicked and not machine harvested. The winemaking is superb with the use of French oak and minimal intervention.

Comments from Our Wine Buyer: This is a classic Margaret River Cabernet Merlot from a winery with an impressive range of wines. It is smooth, easy drinking and full of well-integrated oak treatment. This wine will suit any occasion and would be perfectly matched with lamp cutlets straight of the barbeque. The wine making skills are brilliant and have resulted in excellent fruit quality and production. Outstanding value for money at $11 per bottle.
