About the Wine

This Victorian Earth & Barrel Pinot Noir 2023 is an attractive, light-medium bodied Pinot with good texture and medium palate weight. Has lightly spiced cherry fruit flavours typical of this variety and hints of raspberries and strawberries with gentle tannins on the finish. Very easy drinking style of wine and perfect food wine.

Comments from Wine Buyer Steve

This tasty Pinot from the Victorian side of the Murray Darling wine region is a light to medium-bodied Pinot and very easy drinking. The fruit was harvested in the cool of night to retain maximum fruit flavour. The juice was cool fermented on skins then pressed into stainless steel to optimise colour and flavour. The wine was then matured on French oak for a few months for just a hint of oak character and to add depth and complexity prior to blending and bottling. A great easy drinking Pinot at a sensational price.

My Score – 91/100 WACC Silver Medal.
