About Aetheon Brewing

The first thing that people ask is: Aetheon, what does it mean? Well we could tell you that the word aethon means burning, shining or bright. Or that it’s a name that has been given to many characters in Greek and Roman mythology (mainly horses, which is where the inspiration for the logo came from).

But that’s not who we are. We believe that our product, not some ancient word defines our brand. We hope that when you think of Aetheon you’ll be thinking of our beers and the values that we hold dear: Quality, consistency, flavour, passion. From our uncomplicated and approachable core range, to our crazier limited releases that’s what we want to define Aetheon.

We believe that making great beer is an exercise in science and creativity – That in reality you can’t have one without the other. That this combination of specialised skills and quirky, fun ingredients makes for a unique drinking experience.

This is translated through what is inside and outside of our cans- a modern and innovative look that is mixed with our approachability and expertise, giving you delicious beers.
