About the ‘Icon’ Wine Range

At WA Cleanskin Cellars we get access to some truly magnificent wines that we sell at up to 70% off the wineries branded prices. Some of these wines are just too good to put under our standard cleanskin wine labels which would not do them justice, so we thought long and hard about how we could give them value and celebrate these iconic wines at iconic prices.

After much debate in our office, we decided that the best way was to match them with iconic people! We engaged the services of one of Western Australia’s best character artists Will Schorer from High Score Creative. Will has hand drawn for us some iconic figures from the music industry for our icon range of wines.

We have selected individuals who made a huge impact in the music industry and, unfortunately, left us way before their time. In the short period, they were with us, they became icons and brought us fabulous music as well as charisma, intrigue, charm and in some cases danger.

To do these iconic music artists justice we had to match them with iconic wines that reflected their personalities, charisma, talent and artistry. We hope we have achieved this with our impressive ‘Icon’ range wines. We sampled hundreds of samples sent to us from iconic wineries throughout Australia who are rated a perfect 5 stars by acclaimed wine writer James Halliday.

What we have come up with is wines of outstanding quality, from iconic wineries at iconic prices. All our ‘Icon’ wines are worthy of the iconic people we have matched to each wine. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!!
