About The Wine

This awesome Coonawarra Sunsets Chardonnay was produced from 15-year-old vines from the Coonawarra region. The wine is vibrant and well textured with a lovely rich mouthfeel. The fruit has benefited from an extended ripening season of a cool climate region and exhibits lovely floral aromas. Being unwooded it is an easy drinking style however as it is a slightly aged chardonnay it has developed rich and intense pineapple and melon flavours on the palate.

This is a good Chardonnay. Because of its age the flavours of pineapple and melon are intense and rich. Its has developed a beautiful golden colour and is quite a complex and mature Chardonnay. I have rated this as an unoaked chardonnay very highly as I think the intense flavour profile deserves it.
