About The Wine:
This medium-bodied Tempranillo from Frankland River, WA, offers rich red fruit flavours with dark cherry, cranberry, and pomegranate notes. Slightly dusty tannins and light acidity give it great length and balance. Enjoy now with a flavourful meal or cellar until 2030 for added complexity.

What is Tempranillo?
Tempranillo is a black grape variety, known as Spain’s noble grape, widely grown for full-bodied red wines. It ripens earlier than most Spanish red grapes and is the main grape used in Rioja. While it has a relatively neutral profile, it is often blended with other varieties or aged in oak, taking on flavours of the barrel. Australia has made significant advances in producing fantastic Tempranillo, particularly in regions like Frankland River.

About The Producer:
One of the top wineries in the Great Southern Region, rated 5 red stars by James Halliday in 2024. The winemaker, a legend with 35 vintages, is highly regarded in WA.
