An elegant and nicely balanced cool climate Riesling, that is particularly showing great depth of flavour. It has good weight upfront and the delicious crisp acidity adds to the mouth filling palate. Showing delicious fresh citrus – lime characters, crisp apple with a hint of flint. Superb now as a zesty aperitif or pair simply with fresh natural oysters or an Asian dish Will reward cellaring for some bottle age complexity.

A beautiful crisp and refreshing Riesling! The Porongurup produces some of the best Riesling in the country and we are extremely lucky to have been allocated a small amount of this fresh 2023 vintage from the region. It is zesty, crips with magnificent flavours of green crunchy apple. A fantastic cool climate Riesling.

Bright and clear with a light gold colour.

Boquet:

Fresh and lifted on the nose with the attractive ‘stone fruit’ characters that are the hallmark of this variety; lovely aromas of light peach and white nectarine.

Palate:

This is a Chardonnay that is delicious for drinking now and over the next year or so. Its generous, peachy melon fruit flavours are beautifully balanced by the lightly drying, fresh acidity. It has a lovely silkiness on the palate with great mouth feel and also the tiniest touch of oak tannin which contributes to it’s to good length. A great match with all foods!

Oak Treatment:

Barrel fermented and aged in new and used French oak for 12 months.
